If anyone has considered swapping out their rigid tour-pak setup for a detachable one, you’ve quickly realized how expensive it is to do so. Like all Harley parts, the detachable components needed to make this happen are very expensive. After a little bit of web surfing, I stumbled upon a site that sells detachable components for considerably less than what the dealership charges. Make no mistake, these are not HD components — they are aftermarket, but from the images on the website of the parts, they look to be of similar quality. The website is called USA Biker, located online at USA-biker.com.

I’m currently in the market for a Two-Up Detachable Tour-Pak Mounting Rack for my 2011 Road Glide Ultra. The dealership sells this component for $179. USA-biker.com sells this exact same mounting rack for $99. Now I’m not in a position to comment on the quality of this piece, but as stated earlier, from the images… it looks pretty darn similar to it’s HD counterpart. If it’s made from the same material, I cant imagine the HD version being $80 better. I’m just sayin’.

So there you have it. If you’re in the market for this sort of product, check out USA-biker.com and let me know what you think.

SAVINGS = $80

    I purchased a batwing fairing with radio and 6×9 speaker accommodations and the quality is excellant. The fairing is handlaid fiberglass not ABS plastic. It was only about $260 with shipping cost. Hell of a deal.

    I ordered a fairing for my bike. The fit was not good. I managed to get it on the bike but it was super tight. The bolts were going to pull through the fiberglass. The two pieces did not fit well so I asked USA-biker to return it. After several emails with them telling me how to install it they finally agreed to let me return it. They asked me to take off the negative review from Amazon and I told them that I would do so after my refund was in my account. Well I haven’t heard from them since. They don’t reply to my emails. They don’t have a phone number either. As it stands I’m out over $300. USA-biker.com-watch out!

      Well, wish I had saw this response before I brought a fairing for my Honda VTX 1800T. After having it custom painted, etc, it doesn’t fit..too small. Won’t bother to try and get my money back for that because I am still fighting them for hard saddlebags I ordered and the CD cover for the fairing that doesn’t fit, paid for and they had FEDEX deliver them to my front door without a signature. Needless to say, I never got the package cause it was stolen from my front door. FEDEX takes responsibility for leaving package in an unsecure location, however, USA-BIKER (Bennie Chu at bennie469@gmail.com) won’t agree to let FEDEX settle so I am currently out of $215. After several emails to them and two letters from my attorney, they still won’t respond or refund my money, so currently in the process of sueing them. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! THEIR PRODUCTS ARE WORTHLESS, AND IF YOU HAVE A ISSUE OR WANT REFUND, THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK. IT IS A REASON THEIR PRODUCTS ARE CHEAPER, BECAUSE CHANCES ARE THEY WON’T FIT YOUR BIKE REGARDLESS OF THE DESCRIPTION!
